Was sitting at a restaurant waiting for some food yesterday and found myself admiring the car. Hmm, never thought I'd say this but the 06 look has finally grown on me. Yes, even the wheels I need to park next to an 04 sometime, but the front fascia changes just give it that right amount of aggression without the "bolted-on" look, and the integrated fogs are especially classy. I can't wait for the next chance to go wash and wax her now

 

I'm glad I waited for the 06, the updates were exactly what I wanted in the TSX.

 

I agree. It took a while for the integrated fogs and rims to grow on me, but now I think the 04/05 front end looks blah in comparison! The fogs/new grill make the front end look less square.

It's grown on me, too, but I still think the OEM kit looks much better on the '04-'05s than the '06. Neither of the 2 wheels ever bothered me much, although if I weren't putting all my dough towards a house down payment, I'd have some new wheels.

 

the '06 front end looks so much nicer, in my opinion.

the rims haven't grown on me yet though. personally, i think the '04-05 and '06 rims are both kinda bland.

Its a growth alright....

I like the front grill/hood...way cleaner design than my 05. I still don't like the rims, and probably never will, but hey, you guys have some great new features like bluetooth, faster and better nav, and more power.

 

i agree the 06 grew on me too but NOT yet the wheels..

 

06 wheels - not the greatest by a longshot, but IMO a bit better than the 04/05 wheels. They really look lousy in photos compared to in the flesh. Pictures make them look pale, flat, and thick-spoked when they're not.

At first, I thought the 06 wheels were hideous as a mofo', but it actually looks more stylish than the 04-05 wheels. 04-05 wheels are WAY too bland..

 

get the euroR front lip.. it comliments the 06

 

i didn't like the wheels at first cause it looked too similar to the boring lexus es. after looking at it up close, it's a really well designed rim that compliments the tsx perfectly. plus it looks a lot bigger than 17"

an 06 6MT/Navi would have been cool, I admit, but in retrospect im glad I bought when I did anyway.

 

Yeah....what took u so long?? I admire my 06 since day one.

 

Cause I really liked the understated look of the stock 04s. I had one for nearly 3 years you know.

 

04-05>06 In my opinion. The only think I like about the 06's are the front grill (no hood trim) and maybe the rear smoked reverse tails, but that's it. The front look so ....with the bodykit on the 06.

 

I wonder if part of the reason why 06's look good now is the fact that they're all shiny new. The 04's and 05's are now turning 2 or 3 years old and probably look a bit paler in comparison if the owner hasn't kept it at mint condition. Besides, physical attraction to a person lasts about 3 years, research has shown that. Perhaps this applies to cars as well (especially as many of us have personified our cars as a "her")?

 

and memory seats!!! I freaking want that option.
