The auto has better mileage as 5th gear is more overdriven than the manual 6th gear (which I found out only after I purchased the car!! - not that it would have changed my mind).
Unlike most other manuals, the TSX 6sp has poorer mileage than the auto TSX.

If torque steer is such an issue, why is everyone wanting more power on the TSX? We'll have the same problem... I think it's bad enough already w/ 200hp. I'm not sure how to stop it w/ 240-260??
I agree that the TSX is nicer, but considering $2000+ cheaper AND faster - that's tough choice - with or without the exclusivity of the Acura brand & the # of TSX's on the road.
When the TSX came out, I did my best to keep my wife from seeing the Accord and really up-played how different they were.... 90% of the people around think we drive USDM Accords anyway. Oh well.

The USDM Accord 4-door is the JDM Inspire, the USDM Accord Coupe is a US design and I don't think it's sold in Japan.

Correction of myself!
[QUOTE=myblacktsx]Actually, the following is the EPA estimate for the TSX (from the Acura website) -owner link - The window sticker of my TSX 6sp agrees with this.
----
EPA Estimated Fuel Mileage (city/highway) - Manual: 22/29* mpg
EPA Estimated Fuel Mileage (city/highway) - Automatic: 23/32* mpg
* Use for comparison purposes only. Your mileage may vary.
------
Correction of myself: I checked my window sticker of my 2005 tsx 6sp (delivery 5/23/05) - it reads 21/30 not 22/29.
Obviously Acura seems to just as confused about the mileage as everyone else!!!
