I currently have an Audi A4 1.8 and I am considering selling this car and purchasing another Audi. I saw the TSX and really liked the styling, performance and ameneites for the money. Was going to purchase a new one, but found one from a dealer pre-owned exactly as I like it but wasn't sure about used car value becasue the 05's are not out yet and Kelly and Edmunds aren't updated. Wondering what to offer or pay for it. It has 24K miles, is blue, and has the Navi with nothing else (wheels, spoiler etc.) Assuming average condition what is it worth??? Please advise.

Never been a big fan of KBB. It's definitely geared way too much towards dealers.

For instance, I punch in a 2004 TSX with 10 miles, the retail is $29185. Seems a "little" on the high side. Therefore, don't put too much weight in their numbers. You can pay the $26425 Viking quoted for a brand new 2004 if you can find one.

 

Thanks domn for moving this post to get more traffic. Also, how does this car compare to an A4 or BMW 325? I love my current Audi but hear horror stories about the reliability of German engineering

I'm looking into a demo SSM/Ebony/Navi with 3,000 miles at one of the local dealers. They quoted me $26.8k via email. I'm going there today to meet the salesperson. It seems like a very good price to me, but I was wondering if anyone here has gotten a better deal.

You shouldn't pay more than $24,000 for it.

 

that is exactly what i paid for a new ssm/quartz/nav/6m a couple of months ago. either way you should be able to get a quote on a new one for at least 27.5k. 7 hundy more for a brand new one is worth it in my book.
