$150 to spend

Im thinking about getting my front and back windows tinted or spend the money on some aftermarket door speakers. If I go with the speakers, I wouldn't amplify them since im only looking to replace the stock ones.

IMHO almost any aftermarket speakers will improve the sound quality.

For $150, have you thought about upgrading the rear sway bar?

I disagree, I feel like the speakers are being pushed once I pass 22-25 on the volume dial. I blew out one of my front speakers in less than 30,000 miles.

Progress RSB and you have some money left over for dinner after installing it yourself.

I just upgraded my door speakers (four Infinity 6012i). The thread in Audio on speaker replacement has my recent experience.

Which was, it's more expensive than just the speakers. You'll need some kind of spacer ($20-40), wire adapter ($10-20), and if you're up for it, dynamat ($40). So you'll likely not get this job done for $150, but if you are only doing two doors, it will be close. I also had my windows done - 35% on sides and rear, but it was about $250. I'm wary of bargain windows - you get what you pay for.

I have not done the RSB yet, but it's on my list and definitely fits into $150.
