Wider stock tire size???

Wider stock tire size???

so winter is here and i need new tires for the OEM 15".... i was thinking about putting on a slightly wider tire...

225/60/15 instead of the stock 205/65/15... anyone attempt this or think it will look stupid???

Kam don't you have a 3.2tl? I thought all 3.2s came with 16's stock. I don't think 225 will look stupid though.

3.2s came 15" stock, too.

Anyhow:

205/65-15 = 791 rotations per mile
225/60-15 = 787 rotations per mile

For every 10,000 miles on the clock, you've actually only gone 9,946.

The conventional wisdom is Wider Tires Plow More Snow. IOW - Wider is not better in snow.

oh cause u want it thinner to slice through the snow??? i guess that makes sense... hmmm

yeah i priced out tires and they are running like $300 for all four... i have also been thinking about doing Go90Go's route and get 5th gen prelude wheels that are 16"... or the Legend GS wheels... and call it a day... ahhh decisions... damn winter...

225's look great that's what I'm on they are the perfect width for our cars.
