Inspired Motorsports kit and grill

Honda Saber access optional deck lip spoiler with ornament

Theres one also with no ornament. I really wish i had gotten that one cause i dont like the bubble looking deal where it comes out beneath..

The inspire wings are the ones with the turn signals in the corners and the one like the stock tl comes with in the us.. Mines a Saber part..

I may concider selling it soon though to get that other one, ill let you know when I do.

good thread on VIP style. Colt45 your car is looking good. thought I would throw a couple pics of my VIP styles wheels. I could push a much more aggressive setup however I want to keep my fender lining so I have decided to not roll my fenders so I am running this with stretched to clear the large fender lip in the rear. running Junction Produce Scars 19x8+39 front and 19x9+42 rear. the rear are really close to the my tein flex coilovers. I had to wind the bottom lock perch up to make it not hit the inner edge of the wheels.

thanks dood.. your car looks great..

The Scaras are live..

Im wanting to do a 01 q41 next and was looking at those wheels and the ame's also..

In a few weeks id assume my car will have the wheels on it..

Im still contemplating the offset.. Im acutally down to deciding on a 9 inch wide with 17mm offset or a 9.5 with a 21mm

I dunno what to expect to have a larger lip.

I wanted to do 10s but i see no benefit in running them, id have a bigger lip id assume with the 9s and doing something with more agressive offset..

The trick is going to be locating adjustable upper ball joints for the rear... If i can give it an extra degree or degree and a half of negative camber i can prolly fit them up in the fenders..

Besides that the car is actually embarrasing now.. It really went to pot in the last few years.. The kit is unpainted and theres dents all over the car. That and i need to get new headlights and taillights and re tint the windows.. Im getting this green film off this guy to tint the windows tho. its like a darker green like some of the jspec vip cars use.. dunno if ill use it or just sit on it and tint the windows solid black..

Either way from the base of the rear window to the trim below the side windows will be the line. Above that the top will be gloss black and the bottom of the car will be navy blue again..

In time though, buying a house, paying the bills, and building a car takes time i guess. I feel like a hobo driving it right now but that wil change hopefully..

yo colt45!
I got my wheels on finally, check out the fitment on the rears. 18x9 225/40/18's slight roll, I was thinking about adding spacers to bring it out a bit more but I think I'm pretty satisfied for now, I just can't wait to bag it, it still seems too high for me, lol.

CCColtsicehockey - Seen your car on the VSC forums....nice! One of the cleaner better looking TSX's I've seen

yea thats the main part i dont like about it.. I mean it looks great and shit but i just am not in favor when ive got options elsewhere with the one that lacks it.. Also i welded in my ornament holes, now ive got an ornament again..

Id like to scrap all the ornaments, and if anything get some junction produce ones or some shit. Im contemplating the little hood ornament thety make.

for 200 bucks tho i hope it comes with some sex tapes or some shit though...

lemme know the offset on your wheels too dood. and if the rear suspension(hubs) are similar..

so i just got a wild ass idea that i think just might work..

The rear brakes on our cars both 2.5 and 3.2. they have that giant 3 inch rotor hat on them. Follow....

I bet i can take a spindle or wheelbearing/hub assy. from a 92-95 legend and bolt it on along with a legend rotor to the tl trailing arm.

This would make the rear wheels sit in about 2 inches further than they do now.. And if it works i could run like a -20mm offset rear

36, I kinda want the rear out more by just a few mm's, and for the front, I'm thinking I'm going to be adding a 10-15mm spacer to even it up with the rears. I've seen airrunner, canover etc for bags... but its so expensive, I'm thinking I'll just peice together some air valves, 3 or 5gal tank, viair compressor, etc... and proably just run adjustable airstruts. I'm just wanting it to adjust ride hieght by flick of a switch, I could care less for the fbss stuff. I use DiegosAnotherR1 on all the forums I'm on.

More info on the rear wheel deal im planning.

The prelude 96-98 standard rear rotor is the same diameter and thickness, the hat is just 1.25 inches tall instead of 3.25.

I also looked at the wheel bearing/spindle assy for the prelude and have ordered another stock tl one so i can compare the 2. If my predictions are correct, all ill need is 2 of the prelude wheel bearings, and then order 2 of the actual spindle splines from honda. Then 0 offset - -15mm offset here i come.

60 bucks a wheel bearing. and like 20 bucks a rotor are the costs so far. I may have to machine the spindle spline myself though,. whatever though. no biggie.
