I'd say go with that exact wheel/tire setup, then the only thing you need to worry about is offset. Which I think 30mm all around would be perfect for that fit. the 215/35/19 on the front should be fine with no modification to the fender, maybe take out the splash gaurd if need to, and if the strech on the rear aint enough from a 235/35/19 do a 225/40/19. Actually, if I where to get some brand new wheels right now, I would cough up the money for those specs, then make my car fit them. Rolled fender, and slight camber will be all thats needed. DO IT!!! DO IT!!! DO IT!!!

colt- i just noticed you have a 3.2tl. I think the front suspension, arms, and knuckle are totally different from my 2.5tl, and I heard that you can't go as aggressive. The rear should be the same as mine except the 5 lug bolt pattern, but the front is different, so I wouldn't know what specs to run in the front.

Diego.

I managed to locate EXTRA DIRT cheap..

2x low disk work vs-xx 19 inch 5x114 centers.. They are brand new with brand new centercaps and bolts and nuts for attaching the center to the barrel.. The guy is also sending me the 2 barrels that he ordered these wheels to replace..

I guess what happened was he curb checked them and wanted to replace just the lip. He had some custom color wheel, and when he got the new wheels he just ended up using the new lips on his old centers..

So, I have 2 brand new low disk centers that are black. And i have 2 barrels or "rims" that are curb checked. My friend owns a big time wheel repair shop and has already arranged to fix the rims and repolish them. They will look brand new when he is finished.

The barrels are 45mm offset i believe. Which i am leary about because its very conservative..

However what i planned on doing is test fitting the low disk centers on the front to see if the wheel clears my caliper. If it does i will probably put the low disk centers and refinished 45mm offset 19x8.5 barrels together and run the 215 35 19 falken tires on the front.

Then for the rear ill probably get another set of low disk centers, with 30mm offset 19x9.5 rims.. run the falken 225 35 19 rears stretched..

if the fronts DO NOT clear the calipers, ill just end up ordering the rears high disk with a 30mm offset 19x9.5 barrel and swapping barrels when they arrive..

confused yet? haha

The main concern is driveability. The setup ill have will put the tire stretched and sitting right under the rear quarter. I tend to drive my car pounded so if i hit any bumps it will put me in harms way..

What my biggest interest now is getting a canover air kit.. That way i could run some crazy fucking offset like even a 28mm rear, drive with it lifted a little, then when i park, dump the fucker so it sits the quarter on the sidewall of the tire.

Do you think a 30mm offset 19x9.5 rim with the low disk center would work on the rear honestly? 225 35 19 tire

Im still curious wtf the low disk = offset mm wise.. like wonder if with a low disk center and 30mm offset if its like im actually running a 38mm offset or is it like im running a 22mm? This is assuming that the low disk means 8mm's as i have heard..

Hopefully im coming to the end of this shit. im just ready to put the wheels on the car.
Ill take some pics right now of it for you..

the difference between o-disk, and a-disk is a bout 7-8mm, basically it makes the center mounting area thinner making it able to have more lip. The o-disk is usually for the rears cause the rear brakes are usually small. O-disk are not for BBK's. I belive they have another version for BBK's. I'm pretty sure the rear 19x9.5 30mm will make you car stand like that cima you posted, with the outter lip about .25" past the fender, but no way to be 100% sure untill it is actually measured. You can run O-disk in the rear, which will give you a great amount of lip for our cars, but I doubt you can run o-disk in the front.

Post up your pics as soon s you get them!

i just tried a set of 17x8 30mm offset with 235 50 17 pzero asemetrico tires off a 350z

the rear lip of the wheel looked about even with the fender if not slightly in lets say 1/4 of an inch.

assuming i had the 19 inch wheel with a stretched tire i think a 30mm offset would work

We are talking like a 19x9.5 with a 225 35 19 tire..

The 9.5 is sketchy though.. Im almost contemplating a 9 inch wide.

With this in mind wouldnt with the 0 disk centers my offset be just like a 38mm with the 8mm 0 disk factor?.. If thats the case couldnt i run a 22mm offset and it be just like a 30mm offset with a normal disk..

If this works dude, the lip would be insane, like id assume. shit i dont even know.. Im not loosing much lip with the .5inches off the 9 inch width though right? I just think the spindle is going to be close as fuck..

lets see pics of the +30 wheels on. as diego mentioned earilier, 2.5 can run a little more aggressive offset than the 3.2 but not by much. 225-35-19 is pretty low, you have smooth streets in your area?? Id hate to see your wheels bend/crack with that offset!

by the way, nice kit. Also, i like your rolex! I got me one not too long ago from ebay.

I just thought about this.. If i added a little more negative camber with adjustable upper ball joints in the rear, or machining a new mounting bracket for the upper control arm, i could even go a little more with the offset..

Like a 25mm, cambered in with stretched tire..

Ok so ive done some equasions...

Where i am setting right now the tire tucks up into the wheel well when i hit bumps and ****..

this is with some winter beater 17x8 with 235 45 17 +42 wheels i had laying around

Judging by the calculations ive done the overall diameter is 25.32 inches with my current setup..

Im going to around a 25.47 inch diameter with a 225-235 35 19.

If i were to use a 30mm offset 19x9 rim id be about 1mm less from where i sit now in the wheel well as far as closeness to the spindle (which i have about .1/2-1 Inch clearance now with my crappy 17s). Id be about 1 inch(.98) further "sticking out of the fender" with the 30mm 19x9..

If I were to use a 25mm with 19x9.5 id be about 1.42 inches further sticking out and 2mm closer to the spindle..

If i were to use a 23mm with 19x9.5 id be 1.5 inches further sticking out and the same inside by the spindle..

With this area not changing much i could also go to a 10 inch wide rim which with a 20mm offset would bring the rim .2 inches closer to the spindle and make the wheels stick out 1.85inches further than they are right now.

My camber isnt too bad now, and i can always add adjustable ball joints or fabricate some way of getting some adjustability out of the upper control arm to give me a little more negative camber than i have now..

I took some pictures quickly with my treo's camera since i cant seem to find my good one..

Ill also include a picture of a test fit with 30mm offset 17x8 350z wheels that had 235 50 17's on them so you can also refrence more with offsets and so forth..

More or less Id just like some suggestions as far as people have. I know a lot of you have agressive offsets, and its more or less the same for any car when you have the wheel sticking out of the fender as far as what looks good and what does not...

Thanks....

The car has adjustable coilovers now and no camber adjustment and is at about 2 degrees or less of negative camber..Im looking into canover air for the near future.

Heres those pictures....

And heres the 17x8 42 offset now with 235 45 17 tire.. To refrence how far the tire is in there..

I tried to use a ruler. but the vantage point of the camera totally throws it out of wack..

20x7.5.. cool not my cup of tea..

id like to see a 19x10 18 mm offset with adjustable upper pillow mounts to pull another 2-3 degrees of negative camber so the tire would barely clear the fender..

No rougher than it did with blown struts, ground controls dumped as far as i could go,and a 215 35 19 tire about 4 years ago.

Im throwing a turbocharged gsr motor in my eg hatch prolly to drive and do burnouts over potholes with on a daily basis. However I am the type of person who will drive this car on a routine basis.. Diego, you see any truth in the statement that if i go (staying with a 21mm offset) from a 9 inch wide to a 10 inch wide id loose lip?

Id like to do wider, but im seriously concidering these 9's if thats the truth.

hit me up on aim if you got it.. Roadmisift138 is my name..

I honestly dont see any reason why it would lose any lip, If anything, I would think it would give it more lip. I think the best thing to do is to verify it with the manufacturer with the specific rim style, just incase there is a slight change in design to make the face bolt to a 10" barrel and lip.

I got aim, but its blocked here at work.

SDiegosAnotherR1 is my sn, I'll sign tonight when I['m home.

word..

I kinda thought that also..

However with that 9 inch wide, ill have more clearance by the spindle.. I bet for sure i could fit a 9.5 at least..

I would do a 225-35 or 225-40, maybe the 35 if your running 19's

Here is a 225-40 on a 18x9.5(the rear wheels)
