HELP which rims/setup

i really need a set of rims for my 96 3.2

i have this guy with a set of 2001 RSX type s rims for sale
first i dont know if they will fit
second they are only 16's
i want the 2001 tl type s rims but there impossible to find

i really dont want to lower my car because i love the way my car rides. but i do because it looks nicer so is there a lowering kit/setup that will let me keep the nice ride of the tl.

also stock offset for the 3.2 is 50mm right?

is there any large wheels that will fit so i dont have to lower it with the 50mm offset?

i dont want to rub or wear the sh*t out of my tires.

thanks in advance

Get 18's or 19's, and check ebay for your Type S rims!! Yeah our cars ride amazing, but lowering looks so much better!

because on a rear wheel drive car you can usually run a lower offset so toy can get a wider wheel and then you can have a big lip . like on m3's and cars like that they can have lake a 3 inch lip no prob

I had a set 17" Konig Monsoons that I absolutely loved. The problem was that they rubbed whenever I took turns really hard of I had people in the back. So I sold them to some ricer and got me a set of TL Type S rims. They fit like a glove not to mention really make the car look good. I would HIGHLY recommend the TL-S rims if you can find them.

yes air ride is going to be more smooth, but you are not going to get more stable , if anything you will get less stable by geting this cuase you are riding on pillows that can move.

air ride is a great ride all around but if your looking for the performance aspect of it then you will be dissapointed cause on corners it will not handel as better as a car lowered with springs/ coilovers, and shocks

i know what it is, i was just saying cause some of these guy like the performance aspect of it, and the whole point of lowering your car is for better handeling, but everyone does it now cause it looks soo good,
if you want to "float" down the street the get them but its gonna cost you a good 5000 for a good system so that you can FLOAT down the street, i know this cause i looked into it and decided against it .

you can get a kit for 1000-2000 but its gonna ride like sh!t

Keep looking for Type S wheels, those RSX wheels the spokes are to skinny and I think will not look right on the TL.

yeah I just want a smooth ride.. although I don't want it to roll when corner.. I drive my cousins lexus when i visit him and I love that.. its a 96 ls400 you can't feel a turn at all.. if I got air ride I'd get air shocks not airbags.. they just seem more reliable to me

I got a set of chrome Type-S wheels I'm looking to unload. I have another 2 years of school here in Utah and the snow isn't good for them. They're still in really good shape but I'm thinking about buying a set of IS300's.

I was reading about how they might not fit. Any ideas on how I can determine this w/o having to go pull my Type-S off and swap it with the IS300 on in it's place?
