My windows screech like hell when they are wet (after washing the car or in rain). Moreso the tint gets scratched each time I move em up and down when they are wet. Everything seems fine when the windows are dry

I read through old posts and there is a DIY on making the windows faster. It involves openeing up the whole door and lubing up the moving parts.

The slow speed does not bother me but the screeching and scratching does.

Is there something I can do without opening up the door to get rid of this issue? Why does it happen?

 

I dont think so, only way I see it is you have to open it and lub the tracks. Thats what I did to solve the issues you'r refering to.

Edit: Tho I don't know why yours only happen when its wet.
