Question unexplained coolant loss???

96 3.2 156,xxx miles. new t-stat and rad cap and coolant flush. no external leaks.radiator and fans operate fine. after topping off the rad before bedtime, by the next day and less then 40 miles of driving, i checked the level and it needed another GALLON!! it leeks abouth 20 oz per 10 miles!!! there doesnt appear to be any water in the oil and no white funny smelling smoke from the tailpipe. Car randomly overheats when driving at 50mph or a dead stop, with air constantly in the system. when hot, you can remove the rad cap and there definitley is alot of pressure, but for some reason it wont suck coolant back from the overflow, and the line from top of rad to overflow is unrestricted and free of cracks fyi. Ive looked all over and there is no external leaks!! someone help???

I would be surprised if it is not a blown headgasket. I had mine changed at 102,000 miles (96 3.2).

Blown head gasket is the only thing comes to mind, if there are no visible leaks.

My car:

We use the type2 cams, intake manifold and Fuel Pressure regulator on the C35 block for better airflow, sadly the car was wrecked saturday night and was never dyno'd.

Another 3.5 swapper from the Acura Legend forum, he was actually one of the 1st to do it but he did a different setup in which he just dropped the 3.5 straight in. Enjoy.
