Use the bleeder port to be sure you don't have any trapped air.
If you don't have trapped air, suspect a faulty thermostat. Suggest replacing w/ OEM. Make sure installed correctly (right side upstream).
good luck

Check the Radiator Fan Switch on the Radiator. If it is not connected or Working. The Temp Gauge will rise.I just had to replace my Radiator and my Radiator was plugged with something that wasn't the Radiator Switch.A Ten Dollar part caused my Radiator to Overheat and EXPLODE.I will report back in the coming Weeks if the overheating problem is Fixed.

I don't know about the 3.2's, but the 2.5's have two places you need to bleed the air from, I learned it the hard way when I changed my coolant a while back, had the same symptoms because I only bled it from the thermostat. After I did it properly it hasn't happened since.

I had my 96 TL 2.5 looked at. I am being told my problem is A Radiator Fan Control Module.I am told it is located behind the Glove Compartment.I am told it is a Dealer Item only.If I learn more I will post it.
