just got the mechanic to to install a rebuid sterering rack cost me 600 dollars with parts and labour, recently had outer tire rod and upper ball joint done and i did an alinement, and as i was going home on the freeway the car starts pulling on the passenger side, so i pulled over and give it a rest, then start driving again and in about 15 munites time it starts pulling again, any suggestion.

 

they did a crappy job take it back thats wat happened.....

when they reinstalled the rack, did they also do an alignment??? i was reading the service manual that when you reinstall the rack, it has to be perfect, or you will have alignment issues afterwards...

 

yes i was there when the alignment was done, i have a feeling that the brake is seizing

 

is the wheel hot after driving the car for a while... if you can't even touch the wheel, most likely the caliper is seized...

 

Plus 2^ Check your rims...if it is hot, the calipers are seized.

 

no it's just normal, but if i drive it for about 20 min it just pulls on side and i get a little shiming from the steering wheel.
