Parking lights not working

When I turn my lights on, my side marker lights, fog lights, and back lights do not come on (headlights, braking and reverse are fine), also my guage cluster and heating controls remain dark. I installed a new head unit last friday and this problem didn't occur until last night when I turned my car on to go to work. I'm assuming all of this could be happening because of a blown fuse? I have no idea, any help is greatly appreciated.

woot thanks, do you know what fuse I need to replace and where it may be located? It's a 97 TL 2.5 if there's any difference between it and the 3.2

I checked the manual and replaced a fuse, but still no luck :-/ so I called a local audio shop and there going to take a look at my new head unit to see if it's the cause of the problem

ok, well I couldnt wait for my appointment at the audio shop, so I just went to a local Honda dealership, they told me that the head unit needed to be rewired and fuse replaced, I did that and problem solved

Glad that everything is solved. Was the power for the HU crosswired? Or was it shorting to chassis?

~Cheers~

to be honest I have no idea, but on the adapter there were a couple of extra wires that I didn't need and I didn't wrap them up before putting the H/U back in, so I think them being exposed had something to do with it

i think i know what it is. i had the same thing happen. its a wire(don't know what it is called i forgot) is grounding out and blowing the new fuse. the wire that was grounding out for me was behind my radio, i installed a new double din and left that wire hanging and it kept grounding out and blowing the fuse. my taillights were not coming on and my guage cluster had no lights. so check what you recently fixed or installed on ur car and see any loose wires
