miles per gallon
hey everyone. I'm still new here, and i'm trying to cover my 5 posts so I can be a "true" member, lol.
Sooo, I was wondering what everyone else was getting for m's per g. so far i've been getting really close to 20.5 every time I fill up.
Here in oregon, since the new year, gas stations can pump ethanol-FREE gas into our tanks! only one place here has it. 8 filled up there yesterday, so i'll see what kinda mpg I get on that.
I'm kinda excited, in a lam way. lol
Its a 96 3.2 with 165k
You?

I average anywhere between between 15-19 mpg doing my everyday commutes. If I take a trip and drive at a more or less constant 75mph then I get 25+ mpg. As my initial figures show in the real world it's hard to achieve good mpg ratings.
So I got my timing belt changed a few weeks back and got a tune-up at the same time as well. After that I noticed an increase in mpg. My first full tank got ~20mpg, while the second one got a very surprising 21.4! I still need to change the fuel filter (should it increase mpg? what else does it do?) I'm also rolling on winter tires so when I get some nice summer rubber it might maybe gimme a few more kms.

haha i get 18 miles per gallon. im driving like a grandpa.
when i don't drive like i get 13 miles per gallon
i changed my fuel filter and the first 3k miles i was doing horrible on mpg. if i went back in time i would not have changed it cause i would rather had 22 mpg then 15 mpg driving like a grandpa. (but if u plan to keep ur car forever go and get it done)
