Is there anyway to open the hood on a 97 3.2 TL from the outside, or underneath? I have already removed the bumper, but still can't get the hood to release. How can I get the grill off without being able to lift the hood? Atleast with the grill off, I would have more access to the hood release. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I had this problem with my old integra... the cable snapped so I couldn't in anyway get the hood open. With the bumper off, I ended up using plasma cutters and destroying the release until I could open it, then spent the $20 for a new one.

 

you can't remove the grill with the hood down.
