Hi, well i'm new to the forums, proud owner of a 98 2.5TL with 127K miles on it.

problem is the following, i got a very odd noise that only comes up from 2500 to 2750 RPM, and it does it for a while, about 2 or 3 miles of driving then it goes quiet.

anyone else had this issue?

Thanks a lot, ill be checking out the complete pulley system so see if i can find a suspicious tensioner, since the alternator got checked and repaired a while back and it was ok.
