What causes the heat to go out? My heat is not working. Also when driving my car the temp. runs hot and i have to turn air on for temp. to go back down. Also its leaking anti-freeze.Any suggestions or what could be wrong?

I moved this to 1st Generation (1G) TL where all the experts preside.

 

Find the leak and get it fixed. In the meantime when temp over heats, turn-on heat with A/C on so it turns on both fans to cool down engine. Take it to Acura or trusted mechanic.

 

fix the leak, replace your thermostat and bleed your cooling system properly.
