Is it just me or...

do these cars begin to fall apart quickly starting at around 130k miles?

I've experienced blown rear shocks, leading to cupped tires and torn inner tie rod boots, leading to worn inner tie rods. The headliner rattles, the steering column has a weird rattle occasionally, and the rear seats or rear deck squeaks sometimes. Last year, I realized that the VSS is probably malfunctioning as it reads about 4mph higher. I'm pretty sure the water pump is seeping and the radiator and hoses have been replaced already. Then today I noticed the drivers side foglight bulb burned out.

137,500 miles as of today. Aside from the problems, these cars are worth close to nothing as of the past 6-9 months.

I have torn tie rod boots. As you know, my shocks were original and they were replaced. I have some problem with my VSS too because some times I am doing 65 but speedo goes to 0. Already replaced driver side fog light bulb couple of months ago. There is small rattle in the rear deck but thats because of my sub. I am good on water pump, hoses and headliner. Over all car is pretty solid. These are just the regular upkeep and maintenance items aside from headliner and VSS I guess..

All things considered regardless of the miles it is a 12+ year old car.

I have had to replace numerous things, but I sitll love this car, lol. A repair every year or more is still better thank a car payment every month.

I'm a hair over 160k miles

You could fix the handles yourself.

There is a DIY fix on here to fix that.

^think that's bad? I can't determine this vibration issue and I'm pretty much have a feeling it's the steering rack.
