Angry I Know Its A Repost But Car Not Starting

HEY GUYS I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME OUT, BUT I BORROWED MY FRIEND'S TL TO GO TO WORK AND I RAN OUT OF GAS. I PUT GAS IN IT AND IT WORKED FINE,BUT THE NEXT DAY THEY USED THE CAR AND DIDN'T PUT GAS IN IT. IT WAS ON THE EMPTY LINE WHEN IT WAS PARKED IN MY YARD.(WE WERE BROKE ASS HELL). NOW THE CAR WOULDN'T START AT ALL. WE PUT GAS IN IT AND IT STILL WOULDN'T START. AT FIRST THERE WERE NO NOISE AT ALL WHEN I TRIED TO CRANK IT AND IT DIDN'T TURN OVER. SOMEONE TOLD ME TO REPLACE THE BATTERY AND IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. I'M HAVING A MAJOR HEADACHE WITH THIS CAR. THANKS

I would check the fuel rail bleeder plug, by cracking slightly w/ the keyswitch ON. If no pressure, either the main fuel relay or fuel pump has likely failed. Running fuel low can damage fuel pump sometimes.

If you have decent pressure (you should get a good spray of fuel when you crack th bleeder), then check for spark by pulling a plug wire, inserting a dummy plug and observing whether you are getting spark. This won't work for COP which I think 3.2's have. In that case you can check for voltage pulse to the COP using a VOM or oscilloscope or engine analyzer(everyone has one right ).

good luck
