HELP: Replaced tail lights and "Tail Lamp" light is on.

Yesterday, I installed my JDM UA2/UA3 Red & Clear Honda Inspire Tail lights and as I was driving to work today, I noticed the Red "Tail Lamp" light is on in the cluster. Am I supposed to reset anything? My tail lights are working properly, I have no idea why the cluster light is on. Any help? Thanks.

Did you possibly forget to plug ANY of the rear bulbs back in? I'm sure that would set off the sensor. I'm sure the car doesn't know if you have a different set of tails.

You switched the box over to the driver's side right? One of your bulbs is probably out.

The bulbs work fine. I will double check though. What box are you referring to TLin401?

This light goes off every so often on my car, even though the lights work. I think if your tails work then you shouldn't worry about it.

Mine have been working just fine, and I've never had an issue with a bulb out warning. Check your harness.

~Cheers~

Go90Go, you didn't have to switch the bulbs from your stock tail lights, did you? The JDM Tail lights I have, had all the bulbs already in them. All I did was plug my factory harness into them and all seems to be working fine. I will double check everything though..

There is a little box that comes with the tail lights. There is one on the driver's side of the old tail lights. That box sends the brake light signal to the tail light. Also since you just plugged the harnesses in one of the bulbs may be bad. I would change the hatnesses back to factory because you know those bulbs work.

I don't have those bulbs in and the light doesn't come on.

I had to swap the harness over from the usdm tails and pull out the corner 194 bulbs.

So did you switch the box so that the brake light would work?

I take it back.. I had to do this. I took the old light harness from my old tail lights and put them on the JDM tail lights. Thanks.
