Heat Issues?

Anyone experience lack of heat on their UA3. I get A/C, but when I turn the temp up even to the highest point, cold air still comes through the vents. Also, the coolant/water temp guage is always low. It's either right around the "C" or a lil' above. Never in the middle of "C" and "H'.

Burp your cooling system or change your radiator hoses. I had a similar (heat only on hard revs) issue and after changing the upper radiator hose (again) the problem went away.

~Cheers~

What do you mean by burp? I'll have take a look at the radiator hoses and ask my mechanic to do the same when I get the Type II IM installed and my valves adjusted. Anything else that can be easily done while I'm having that work done?

Thanks.

You know clearing out the air in the cooling system just have the mechanic give it a try. Also, look at the heater hose behind the engine near the firewall see if it's leaking or worn out also.

I had this issue and then I just needed to burp the radiator and then it was fine.
