Ghost problem

Well today i was driving home when i was on the freeway all of my electronics in the car turned off..!!! an then 2 mins later everything came back on.. but my car was still going with no problem. Then this morning when i wanted to turn it on all my dash lights turned on as i was going to start it then all my lights turned of and the car wouldn't start or click at all. i checked my battery voltage it was fine my terminals are clean all fuses are in good shape. after a little while my car turned on fine so its only done it twice but i would like to fix this problem because its no cool. Has anyone had this problem before..?????

Yes, it was from a corroded ground terminal ring. It was tightly on, but that didn't make a difference.

Faulty keyswitch assembly is likely. Contacts get burnt and loose and electrical problems as you describe happen. New switch is easy fix. Check this forum w/ search for previous posts of fix. Following link is similar and there are many diy's out there.

good luck
