Hello all! So I'm aware that there is another way to make your windows faster but I went to a friend of mine who's a mechanic and he taught me an easier and faster way to make your windows slightly faster! This works really well if your windows are getting stuck constantly and doesn't go up or down all the way. It's very convenient if you don't have the tools to do it the other way too.


A word of caution, you may need to was your car afterwards as oil can get on the interior and exterior of your car.

What you need: Some sort of oil or lubricant ie: WD-40

Step 1: Roll down all your windows as far as possible.

Step 2: Spray lubricant in between the two felt pads that holds the glass on both extremes of the window. See pictures below. (Do this for all windows)

Step 3: Leave windows down for about 5 min.

Step 4: Roll windows up and wipe off excess lubricant on the windows.

Step 5: Leave windows up overnight to avoid lubricant on the windows.









There you have it! It really is that simple! Let me know what you think!

 

Reminder: It can get a little messy so best to do this right before you're about to wash your car or something.
