Question Emissions Warranty Extension Problem

I got a letter from Acura saying they had extended the warranty to 14 years or 150K miles and to come in for free inspection and rapair.
My 1996 3.2TL has 158K and they won't do anything.
My light has been on for years and they always say it could mean nothing but would charge me $200 to find out. I think this is ripoff. The average car goes 12K a year which would be 168K in 14.
My Dad's Toyota has lots of things done at the dealer for free that weren't covered.
I have had this car for 7 years and it has been perfect but this bugs me.
What do you think. Is it worth fighting about?

Boy, you got screwed! I took mine in with 147 on it and the dealer had it for two days cleaning all the manifolds and changing every gasket. It was a total of over 7 tach hours in labor and it costs me notta..
