Has anyone experienced a driveshaft dissengaging? If so, what was the symptom. A complete loss of drive or just a rough ride or vibration. If drive was lost, was there a grinding noise? Thanks.

 

Forgot to mention that this is a 98 3.2TL, with 230K miles. Engine is still strong

 

I've never had this happen, but from other posts you lose drive. Makes sense as you can spin an elevated wheel w/ other wheel on the ground. Failure to install the driveshaft retaining clip into the receiver can cause the shaft to come loose.
