Does anyone know where I can find a DIY to install a blower motor?
Ok I checked around and searched and I couldnt find any subject talking about how to install the blower inside the car under the glove box... can someone please help me out?
The 2.5TL and 3.2TL require the evaporator to be removed to access the blower. First thing is to be absolutely sure the blower is indeed faulty. Check for operation by jumping 12V and ground directly to the blower connector and confirming no operation.
I would highly recommend an Acura shop manual for your vehicle. Even if you find a good DIY procedure, I've found the manual to be very helpful. Cost may seem high, but consider if you have this blower replaced by a shop! Probably, a $250-$500 job.
All Honda products I've seen in the past allow the blower to be accessed w/o removing the evaporator. It's a shame Acura didn't work harder to maintain that fine tradition for the TL's. Even so, it's better than a lot of American cars which require the entire dash panel to be pulled away to access the evaporator housing.
good luck
