differential problem

Theres a gear oil dripping underneath my engine right where the differential connect with the tranny on the right side, by the passenger side. Is that the differential for this front wheel drive? How difficult to remove that?

I would make sure it's not engine oil from higher up draining down. However, if it's gear oil, replacement is a big job. Probably only worth it if the leak is unmanageable w/ periodic topup and you intend to keep the car for some time.

good luck

Its the automatic carrier assembly, its easy to remove actually removing the trans axle will take longer than removing the carrier assembly. I think when I replace the engine my friend uses the impact wrench and over tighten it coz I see crack to were the bolt attaching the tranny.
