What do you check for when your alarm does not make a noise? and is it supposed to light up? When I purchased my car theres a quiet humm when I lock it but thats it

 

It may just be the settings which can be changed.

 

There is no chirp or beep when you lock/unlock. Also, there aren't any exterior lights that blink either. When you lock your doors you'll see a red light will start blinking on the drivers side door. When you unlock, the dome lights will turn on if you set the slider to the middle position.

 

oh. I figured the car beeped or something like other ones. well then I guess it works ...
