Lady backed out her driveway without looking back and ran into my car, now it totaled from waht the insurance Co said. I'm glad that she admitted that she was at fault. Im just waiting on the Insurance Co. come back with a good offer! This has been a Great car for me it has 271,000 miles on it. Hate to see it go! "Still drivin her till they buy it from me

Thought about buying it from the insurance co. and trying to fix it with use parts or part it out, but that may take too long. i guess we'll see

 

yea due to the mileage and age of the car they will most likely total it ... doesnt look to be too bad of a hit though, so repairing it wouldnt be a bad idea if u really love the car that much

 

Ouch! That looks bad. Totaled for sure but you can buy it back if you decide to fix it. If you were any closer you could come get the doors and fender from my 97 and paint them. I am getting ready to get rid of my 97..

Yeah i'm thinking more and more about keeping her. i guess i'll be learning how to do body work lol. oh yeah still waiting on the insurance co. to pay up.

 

Well just to give ya guys and gals an update: insurance company offered me $1400 minu $400 buy back salvage value.

Took them awhile to settle cause the wife wasn't on the policy and i had to call them and tell im gonna take them to court if she wasn't added, well two days later the insurance called and said they"ll be sendung me a check for $1000.

Not bad considering i pay $2000 fo it three years ago

Yeah it look pretty easy. Wish i still had the the pdf. file for the repair manual that someone on here had a link for it but can't find it now, next time im putting a copy on a flash drive just in case.
