So when I accelerate my brake light turns on for some reason.... And my mateinence thing on my cluster is red.... I've did oil change.... reset the ecu... did tranny flush.... and seafoamed... Still mateinence thing is still red... isn't suppose to be green? Idk what's causing this problem to my brake light and the mateinence.

 

read the owner book for reset of maitenance light- its not automatic

for the brake light- make sure all the bulbs are working and check the switch at the brake pedal
it can come loosened or fail--easy to replace $50

 

When was the last tune up?

 

have you checked the fluid level in the master?
and make sure its slider inside is working--that reports the level to the sender unit

 

Its your fluid level this happens to me every now and then. Just put some brake fluid in and you will be fine.

 

^^ all you do is get something thin and stick it in the slot next to the maintenance light, that will reset it..

- brake fluid for isn't necessarily the answer.. do you use your E brake when you park? i use mine everyday and sometimes in the morning when its cold the light will stay on for a little then go away.. no problem

 

The (!) light used to come on when my front pads were worn out. After I changed them it stopped doing it.

 

^ after doimg all rotors and brakes ( disconnecting and cleaning e-brake cable) my light stopped comming on in the morning.
