brake caliper/brake pad...rattling
my car is a 96 2.5 tl. i replaced rear caliper and brake pads, and shortly after there was an awful rattling noise coming from tire. after inspection found out that the pad was really loose inside the caliper.
anyone have any ideas what this is from, or how to fix it.
could it be that they gave me caliper for 3.2 tl, is there a difference?

i had the same problem but it was in the front..i heard rattleing in the front,i thought i was goin died if that came off..but i check about 5 times till i found out..first i thought it was the pads,2nd thought it was the ball joint. 3rd i knock it w/ a hammer and found out it was lose by the capliers.. i check the bolts there lose..so i tight it up and it stop the noise..

nope, that didnt work. we are thinking the place gave me the wrong caliper, because the brake pads just move around too much inside it...up and down, side to side...doenst seem right. apparently there is a difference between 2.5 and 3.2. guess i have to find receipt and take back to store.
