96 TL Damp Start Problem; Need a Procudure Guide
Greetings,
My 96 TL 3.2 recently start to have a damp start problem, especially during the storm last week here in the northeast coast. For example, in a wet morning, when I turn my key and all electrical devices will power up but engine will not rattle at all. I will need to give several tries to get it start. Once it starts, it keeps running without a problem.
After some internet searching, I thought I might need to change the distributor cap and rotor (I have changed spark plugs about a year ago). But when I called AutoZone and Advanced Autoparts, they don't carry the parts for this model. Even more, one guy told me that my car doesn't use distributor cap but the "Coil" (?).
Can I fix this by myself? Can someone give me some guidance on the procedure? I am a total newbie, please be gentle. TIA.

I guess the guy from Advanced Autoparts was wrong. I did find the Acura TL 3.2 distributor cap and rotor online. I will order online and try to figure out how to change them by myself. Please let me know if it is not right.
