Some times I experience this strange problem. When I start my car, auto transmission doesn't shift from parking to drive, but took care of that by putting the car key into the slot next to the shifter and push DOWN then I shifted to reverse but now I fear I made a mistake because my brake lights now wont come on...

Any info would be helpful.

 

Your brake switch is bad. Thats the cause of both of your problems.
