I got a tune up few thousand miles ago, since then, my car makes this screeching noise when I start the car. I let it sit idle for awhile and the screeching stops. Could this be that the belts are on too tight? The sound is like a high pitch humming/screeching noise.
Any idea?

There are a lot of possiblities; accessory belt idler bearing, AC clutch or clutch bearing, cooling fan, or timing belt tensioner bearing. I would suggest finding a short tube and use it like a stethoscope to pinpoint the origin of the noise. Be careful for moving parts!

i had the same prob since i got my timing belts and access belts changes a few weeks ago... its really brief and only happens when i start it up early in the morning... but the squeal only lasts for about 3-5 secs before it shuts up... im thinking maybe its cause of the new belts??? would belt lube help???

The PS pump pivot bolt can be reached from under the car from the front, while laying on your back. I used a closed end (14mm?) to loosen the pivot.
The lock on the adjusting bolt can be reached from engine compartment w/ a closed end wrench to loosen.
The adjusting bolt can be reached from under the car inside the RF wheel well w/ wheel turned to far right. You will need 3/8" ratchet, long extensions, and 12mm socket to reach the adjusting bolt. Wobbly extension may make the job easier.
Entire job is easier if you have ramps or jack stands to elevate the front end.
