2.5TL 96 won't start
Hello to everyone:
I just changed my starter, alternator, spark plugs, battery, battery cables, fuses
but yet again my car isn't starting it would crank/turn over it would start for like 2mins but its like having hard time getting energy. I run OBDII scanner but no codes reads, so now I'm stuck /i don't know what else or step I need to do. one of the video I have watch a guy changed his alternator and He said "don't forget to jump your car so it would generate power to the alternator" so now im eager to buy a portable jump start device I will also take a video of my car while starting. TYVM any help/suggestion is greatly appreciated.

How about fuel? Is the fuel pump working? Crank the car for a little while but don't over do it or you can damage the starter. Then inspect the spark plugs and see if its wet.

I changed a lot of parts of these car: when i first bought this car to a "friend" said no problems at all no mechanical nor electrical bought it for $2100 then i have it inspection took it to japanese import mechanic said broken axle Rt/Lt, new booth struts/shocks brakepads/rotors replaced it all cost about $1400 +labor about $900 and now just spend another $450$ this is giving me nightmares. all i want is for these to run properly and well taking care off. febuary im replacing it maybe toyota tacoma or ford ranger but i still want this so run properly.

You're not cranking it long enough and it sounds like sometimes the starter is not engaging? Kinda hard to tell from video.
Did you try holding the butterfly open when starting to see if it will start?
You need to start with the basics... air fuel ignition.
Check the idle screw in TB?
Your tl is notorious for clog egr/clog plentium?

I forgotten to mention that the car has ignition bypass. I press a button to start the car after i turn the key to engine on. I'm not familiar about the butterfly and where it would be located and what idle screw on throtle body?

Hold the gas pedal down that will open the butterfly.
X is where the idle screw is (behind the hose).
Ahh, you need to buy a service manual.

The cable is not suppose to be tight nor taught but not loose either. Should be on the soft but not loose side.
If its too tight the throttle may get stuck on/butterfly open. Which is dangerous. So better to error on loose side.
The manual should have directions on the proper tension adjustment.
