Which steering wheel hub adapter kit?

So i finally got a wood steering wheel; i ordered a hub adapter of a 96 civic but it didnt work;it was too small;
does anyone know if the 97 tl kit works with 96 2.5 tl?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BOSS-...=p4506.c0.m245

Or any other kits that will work?

Air bag is a safety mechanism and I would not compromise that for the looks or style.....

I'm with meazz1 on the safety issue, but to each his [or her] own. Just make sure you don't muck with your passenger-airbags... it is a passenger car ;D . I wanted woodgrain steeringwheel as well but settled for woodgrain steeringwheel-cover to match the interior. Would love to see pics though!

I'm wondering how it is a 97-02 TL in that eBay post... when first gen was 95-98...

Front airbags cause more harm than good. Personal experience. Curtain bags, though, are good, and air suspension is good, too, haha.

~Cheers~

Never heard of those, but considering the options; I may just be looking into a real woodgrain steering wheel...

My second car was a 97 toyota avalon. I was hit head on by a drunk driver doing 45+mph. I was doing 15+mph and I walked away without a scratch. And 5k in the hole thanks to him not having insurance and my uninsured motorist covering only 3500 of a 8500 dollar valued car, at the time. But I digress lol: the airbag saved me some serious injury. It may have damaged my lungs tho lol as the white powder in the air burns like hell.... I rolled out of the car because I couldn't breath.... And thus began a 4 month search for a good used car, landing me with my tl I would never remove an airbag. The TL has a 4 star front crash rating as opposed to the avalons 5
