got my jdm grill

Ok so I got my jdm grill today from Tokyo...it only took two days to get to Tennessee...ok anyways...I was so excited I opened it and immediately went to install it...first I noticed a bolt missing at the top(no big deal)...as I got to looking further I saw that two of the bottom screws were not coming off...so with some help I finally pulled them out and they will be easily glued back in also a rubber stop at the bottom was broke. I just swapped out the factory one that wasn't broken. Then i noticed the top two places have been tightened so HARD that they have cracked(more glue needed) So, i think the grill is in good condition otherwise. Lol sigh Im just extremely disappointed at the person I purchased it from. It would've been nice to have a heads up. I also understand the part is what...13 years old too...lol so if anybody would like to share their horror or happy stories please do. Also I would love.some advice for my next purchase. Thanks Ladies and Gents!

I love the look of that grill! Where's the pic of the grill on your car? You have a UA3.

Looks good but 3.2 is UA3, UA2 is 2.5. Did you test fit it?

I did test fit it...perfect fit. Go90go..you had three and you couldn't throw a bone my way! Lol jk. Due to the glue needed my bf gets industrial glue from his Wk so Ill install it this morning. What rear emblems? I figured id just debadge her. I have a H symbol to go on it also. (From my xs older civic that is now passed away) I didn't want to fake it and put an inspire or saber badge on it...first of all I don't know the difference between the two, second its not a true jdm vehicle so I don't want to be a poser.

For some reason the hail damage dosnt show up in the pix...ill take some bad ones today...thanks but I've currently decided not to change the blinkers to clear...I only wish there was some pictures I could see of the tl with clears...I've only seen two that weren't my color(green) so im unsure yet. Is there ne one on the forum who has a green tl with clears? I just figured the oem amber blinkers would match the amber side markers im installing soon. Yea I had a H emblem...I just can't find the darn thing! I should have a few lying around since I've owned a few hondas...but Im taking donations at the moment....lol

Ok...these still don't show the hail damage...you have to get down on the car to look at it.
Tree fell on the bumper on this side...(touch up paint dosnt like my pressure washer lol)
Both fenders have woopty do's all in them
Beyond the fender usa large hail spot...u can prob barely see it here(sigh)
I've also got a few on my hood and one on my roof that For Some Reason wont show in the pix. Ive also got two big ones on the rear quarter pannel...I am going to have a Dent Dr. Pull them out when I get off my lazy butt.

You don't necessarily have to go with clear bumpers either .. you could tint the ones that you have currently and if you are gonna get JDM black chrome headlights like me that will look sick.

Here's some pics from an OG member here ..

If you were to leave the car bone-stock and just change the front and rear emblems (not grill) to H, you'd have a Saber.

If you did it like me where every lamp, grill, sill, visor and emblem is changed, and you have a Premium package, then you'd have an Inspire. I don't have a 32V badge because I'm still missing one thing to make it a full 32V. Well, two, but I have something aftermarket in its place so that doesn't count.

~Cheers~

P.S. I don't think you'd want the spares that I have... You'd have to put them back together, haha.

^^^^^wow that was LOW LOW bro! Beautiful pictures. Im undecided at the moment. I've put on the ua3 grill(assuming it cam from the inspire?) Then I debadged the rear of the car(Don't feel like being laughed at) added a H. I Don't think my car is worthy of a saber or inspire badge I dunno to each his own though. Like I said previously I don't know enough about the saber or inspire. I see similarities and also differences. I wouldn't be ashamed to put inspire or saber on my car but it would trueley have to be one.

Like I said, the USDM TLs are all Saber 25Gs and 32Vs. No difference.

^^^^Wow...thank you for the pix...BEAUTIFUL I really love the headlights! Since I've put my grill on and debadged my tl I've gotten a lot of compliments but also a lot more looks...lol we have a friend who has the same car and same color as mine...he seemed green with envy when he saw my car yesterday. I told him about the forum and that it dosnt take much to improve these already beautiful tl's. Our first gens truely stand out to me now. Thanks again!

Very nice, but I still prefer my homemade mesh upper and lower grille. Completely debaged people are always asking what kind of car it is lol
