worth modding if you have high mileage? around 75,000? I have a96 2.5 and wondering if it is worth the money to get an intake and springs and stuff with high mileage around 75k. thanks

My car is a 97 with 86,000 miles on it. Modding has not hurt my car. I have exhaust, nitrous , and an intake. I do not use the nitrous often. If anything modding it has made the car better and run stronger. An intake is one of the best things to get.
I do not think you need a newer car. High miles are really not an issue for our cars, as long as you keep up the maintenance and oil changes. My car has been perfect.

Why the hell not?
I have a 92 Vigor GS wiht 150K that I'm not going to stop modding.
My friend has a 92 Vig with 230K and he's modding whenever he can.
75 K on a 1st Gen? You haven't even opened up that baby yet, chief! If you love your car and don't plan on getting a new one then stop puzzyfuttin and go mod that bad boy.
If you don't and want to "change" up for a Gen2 TL then whatever rocks your boat.
Personally, my next vehicle will be the 2nd gen MDX. I'm not feeling the 2nd Gen TL or TLS at all. I prefer my Vigor and 1st Gen.

yeah man , i agree like i was sayin, why the hell do you need a newer car to do modifications, that is not true at all. MOD your car , just take care of your car and your car will take care odf you.
..DAMN 250K on a vigor!, that is real encouraging news to hear. glad it is still going strong!

I would never even think about putting NOS or an Aftermarket turbo on a car that has 75,000 miles on it. Would you?

Sorry to say but eventually NOS will damage your engine and it doesnt matter how many miles you have. An aftermarket turbo is still boost, but its not as bad as NOS. Now if you do the proper modifications, thats a different story...
