It is ridiculous that a group buy or 4 or 5 on a 96-98 friggin TL does not get you a discount. I mean common does this guy know about some kind of special place where everyone owns 96-98 TLS. Ask the moron if he EVER has sold more than 5 of the damn things at once, at least in the last few years...............geez

As far as I can tell it's brand new. What he does is charges you $600. He sends you a wheel that same day which has brand new leather already wrapped along with the new wood pieces (top and bottom). He then refunds you the $200.00 deductable (still waiting for mine) once you send in your old wheel. I know that $400. is a lot to spend on a new wheel, but if yours is in poor condtion (leather flaking away) like mine was, I think it's worth it. How much would a new stock wheel cost? Probably about $300, I bet. Plus, what would yoou do with your old wheel? I am very happy with my couston wood wheel. Very few NEW Luxury cars have a wood wheel, let alone zero 1st or 2nd gen TL's. Mine is nearly one of a kind. I get looks ALL THE FREAKIN TIME!!!! LOVE IT!

See I'd love one. But I got a leather wrap, so it looks and feels real nice.

Mike, This wheel is tight, you'd love it, and it'd look sweet on your white ride! The guy custom leather wraps it...very soft cushy.

SurfingScotty-
Pictures look great.
On The "No Yellow!" photo, what kind of bulbs are those on the corners? I got some super white LED bulbs and they have a kinda blue tint to them, I dont like the blue.

I think that they were bulbs by ACP or something like that. I coudn't find them again and just put new bulbs in, and they have the blue tint too. They'd look good with those "cool blue" head lights, but I have 4,600 K head lights so they don't match. Sucks, huh? Good luck though.

do these steering wheels come with a new air bag? I'm wondering about that because a new air bag does cost a lot and if your oem one was good and the new steering wheel's isn't and you crash...

btw surfing scotty what kind of shiftknob is that...it looks like it matches nicely.

The wheel does NOT come with an new airbag. New bags are very expensive. I bought my Prelude with an aftermarket wheel on it, and I wanted my cruise to work (and everything wires into the SRS harness) so I paid for a new bag. $950.00 plus labor! You just keep your old air bag, and they send you the new wheel. Pretty easy to install.

The shift knob is off the MDX, w/ a little modifications.
