Has anyone called about this and asked how much it is? It requires a core exchange meaning that you send them your old one after you install the new one.
Also, has anyone ever swapped out their steering wheel before? I am very interested in getting this as long as it is relatively easy to install....

Let us know Slow! I called the dealer to see if the TSX's wheel would fit but they said nada. I need a new wheel 'cause the top of my leather is all nasty and flaking away!!!! AGR!

$200. Installation is not hard. I can go over with you step by step and
once you go through it you will say ---That's it?

Damn that is what... $595.00 all together, ... by refundable $200 deposit mean that they send you back your $200 after you send them your stocker??? thats bull... i'd rather buy a new stocker for $488 and some change then this... although it does look nice and go with the luxury look of the interior... "To get it... or not to get it??? That is the question..."

ill prolly get it just cuz i have wanted one for a while and was going to get it custom done which would prolly be like 500+ bucks. so whatever ill save some in the long run. when i get some bread maybee ill put the order in.

Will do but it will prolly be in about a month or two since i have to get like 600 bucks together do throw down and get some back later. But yeah ill def let you know. The guy is prolly stocking more now because he got like 8 calls in two days or something

My next purchase too! I just got some new low profliles on my car (front two) and was going to get the rear two after I get back from surfing in two weeks, but I think I'll hold off on the rear two until they blow. My sterring wheel looks like crap and I've been wanting a new wood one anyway.
If someone is going to buy one within the next 3 weeks, let me know...maybe we can get a discount!! Never hurts to ask!

wouldnt change it yourself, if you blow the airbag you can get hurt if it blow with your hands right next to it, and then you are out $800 for the airbag

What you need to do is disconnect the battery, wait several minutes and pump the brake pedal a few times. That dissipates any residual power that might be around. I had to remove the airbag on my WRX many times for little projects and never had any problems.

Glad I could be of some service fellas....
That find was such a damn fluke too ..LOL... i simply wanted to see pictures of TL's so i went to yahoo clicked on pics and did a search... i was flipping through the pics and i came across this beauty..the Wood steering wheel on like the 11th page 
... lets just say i 
...there was alot of that going on sorry if i got carried away with the smiley's guys im just glad i could actually contribute in helping others pimp out their Tl's

So it is $595 up front and then when you send you original stock wheel back they send you back $200 of the original $595?

sorry guys...I just talked to the actual sales guy and they do offer multi-item discounts, but it's for like large quanties. I told him I wanted to buy 3 or 4 and he kind-of laughed at me. It was worth a try though, right??? The guy is pretty cool, though. I'm still getting mine on the 8th!

Just got it in the mail today! It's totally badass! It doesn't match perfect with the phoney wood in the car, but it's sick nontheless. I'm going to try to install it tomorrow on my lunch break. I'll post pics once it's done as well as step by step instructions since no one knows how to do it.

Here ya go!! Straight from the service manual.
Steering Wheel Removal
Airbag Removal
SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, precautions, and procedures in the SRS (section 24) before performing repairs or service.
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable, then disconnect positive cable.
2. Remove the access panel from the steering wheel lower cover.
3. Disconnect the connector between the airbag and cable reel.
NOTE: Some SRS system connectors have a spring loaded lock. To release the lock, pull the spring-loaded sleeve toward the stop. Then pull the connector halves apart. Be sure to pull on the sleeve and not on the connector half itself.
4. Remove the covers.
5. Remove the Torx T30 bit bolts, then remove the airbag assembly.
6. Disconnect the connectors from the horn and cruise control switches.
7. Remove the steering wheel bolt.
8. Loosely install the steering wheel bolt to the column shaft, then install a commercially-available steering wheel puller to the steering wheel to remove it.
9. Remove the steering wheel bolt and steering wheel from the column shaft.
CAUTION:
• Do not tap on the steering wheel or the steering column shaft when removing the steering wheel.
• If you thread the puller bolts into the wheel hub more than five threads, the bolts will hit the cable reel and damage it. To prevent this, install a pair of jam nuts five threads up on each puller bolt.

No doubt, it's a nice steering wheel. But let's do the math, the guy want us to send in our stock steering wheel so he could cut it up and put in some wood, then send it back to you and he charges $395 for labor? Sorry, if i'm wrong is the steering wheel he send it to you guys new?
