Will She Pass?

So I had "father and daughter day" with my dad today and we put my TL's face back together! Due to my accident in November, the bumper popped off and the headlight broke on the driver's side. Also, the side panel on the front got kind of pushed in, but it really wasn't too bad. We managed to pull and bang out the dent and replace the headlight and bumper. It took a few hours, but I think we did alright. I will post pictures and you can decide for yourself. It's far from perfect, but I think it will pass inspection.

Here's the before picture:

Here are a few with the replacement headlight in:

Here's a close-up of the damage. You can see the bumper is cracked and the metal panel doesn't line up all the way.

This one shows the dented part. It is kind of bumpy, but meh:

The hood lines match up pretty well, fortunately. She doesn't look as bad as she could have. There still is a big scratch on the door, which I am worried will rust, but so far it has been okay. I'm thinking of painting clear nail polish over the thin areas just to prevent rust. That isn't the best way cosmetically, I am sure, but it should do the trick, right? Or should I just wash and wax her? Will wax alone do it? She does need a bath....

Here's the after picture:

The next step is getting that sticker for another year! I will do that this week. Wish me luck!

Thanks! I had to make an appointment for Friday and I talked to the same guy who broke my sensor. He sounded kind of in disbelief that I was asking for an inspection. He even asked if there were any sharp edges. I don't think there are any sharp edges, but there is one bulb out (shhhhh!). I am bringing a backup, but I will see if they catch it. If they are too busy looking for sharp edges, maybe they won't notice, haha.

I guess I could have done that, but when I noticed it was out, it was night and I was about to drive home. I got the car inspected today and she passed and they didn't even notice the light out! I'm so happy she passed! Maybe I will pop in the replacement bulb later if I can figure out how it works. There are cut wires attached to the two bulbs that I have, but if the actual light bulb unscrews from the stuff around it, then perhaps I could just replace the bulb. When my dad changed the other bulb for me a year ago, he said it was complicated and he lost a clip or something while he was doing it. That makes me hesitant to fiddle with it, but now that I've passed inspection, I suppose it wouldn't even matter if I messed something up. It's not the main headlight, it's the light on the side of the headlight.
