I most likely will but it also depends if it does anything and how hard it is/expensive to install

I will be getting them next year at some point. Springs are first priority though. I had AEM u/d pulleys on my Integra, they didn't do a WHOLE lot, but added to all the other extra stuff I had (intake, exhaust, header, Fuel press reg. (putting this on the TL in spring too, already have it but weather too cold now!), MSD Blaster coil), I made a total of about 25 extra HP at the flywheel. (dyno proven). I did notice that the engine would spin up a bit quicker with them (improved throttle response). Every little bit counts when you're aiming for as much HP as you can get. I figure I can get my 3.2 up to about 215 HP before doing the type II head swap. Unless someone finally makes headers for the 3.2 or Legend, which SHOULD be good for about 10-12 HP on the 3.2.

i do not advise anyone on getting the underdrive pulleys if these apply to you

if they weigh less than stock because honda balances the engines with the crank pulley and putting on something lighter will cause the engine to be out of balance possibly causing engine vibration and premature wear of the crank seal.

if you have a system in your car. they will make the alternator put out less voltage, so if your like me and your shit dims like a son-of-a-bitch at idle just imagine what it would be like with even less voltage. i need a cap bad as hell, wish them bastards never stole my honda.

also how much extra power could they make for the engine. not enogh to jeopardise relaibility.

in closing i am not trying to steer anyone away from them i just figured that i would let people know what they are all about being i had them on my old honda and thats the symptoms i had. just trying to help

Thanks for the help on these... i was skeptical, and since you said the lose of power to the Alternator... with my system of about 2000 watts... i don't think these are for me... also my engine vibrates enough with the exhaust manifold busted... thats a mod off my list

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with yours, but I had NO problems what-so-ever with mine. I had them in my Integra for 3 years, had a full system (2 high current amps), NEVER had a problem with the engine being out of balance or leaking crank seals or anything. I just put a big cap on my system and never had a problem with the juice in the car either. It's always about the quility of the parts you buy. I bought the AEM kit, came with the correct new drive belts and everything, worked fantastic. Yes, I will agree, they don't give you much HP at all. But when you are trying to swueeze every little bit that we can out of our cars with such little support in the aftermarket, EVERY little bit helps as far as I am concerned. I just happen to be a very enthusiastic driver, and I like my sports car. I like luxury too, that's why I bought the TL, but there's no reason why we can't make one helluva Sport Tourer out of our cars. They are so close already, I can't WAIT to get the 6 spd conversion done on my car when I finish paying off all my bills next year. It's gonna happen, maybe not as soon as I'd like, but when it does...PULL BESIDE!! I'll be takin on any one who wants to get fed...

i had an unorthodox racing crank pulley and a AEM tru-power alternator pulley

maybe because the old crx only had that one belt, i dont know. all i know is that for the $$$$ they were not even close to being worth the money.
for the $200. that i spent on both pulleys i would have invested it other ways. even though i had every bolt on and still felt slow with my 13.4 timeslip. it was honda so i thought it was fast back then

now after that car got stolen, i bought a DSM and with the all wheel drive got it down to a 12.4 with just exhaust and some "free" mods.

but now i am off track here i bought my TL so i would go slow and stop getting tickets. BTW, i will be 25 on 11/04 and i have 62 tickets to date.

Holy Shit!! I am gonna be 30 in Jan., I thought I had alot of tickets!!! Probably have about 30 to date.... !!!

The pulleys were one of the LAST things I invested in. After I had done almost everything else. I will say it's not much for the money, but as a last add-on it's not bad. Plus, V6 will get more power out of them than 4 cyl would, just like anything else.

Haha, jokes, but my tickets aren't even "ricer" tickets, mostly just speeding tickets, 20 KM/H over, 30 KM/h over, and most of them just cruising the highway, just bad luck!! I have had a couple of bad ones for 49 KM/H over, one I was actually caught doing 190 KM/H on an open section of the 401 highway here in Toronto, but he knocked it down to 115 (15 over) NICE GUY!! Took most of them to court, about 50/50 with getting off/ getting lowered only once didn't get it reduced at all.

looks like you've been lucky except that one time when it wasn't reduced... lol... I just paid mine and told them i wanted the traffice school thing so it won't be on my record and won't affect my insurance... oh well i guess we are getting a bit off topic here...

About the pullies... I wouldn't put them on the Acura... unless they were chrome plated ones (Idea: Chrome plate the stockers )... i've seen blue, red, and silver... but never chrome like the ones they make for Chevy etc...
