I have a 1996 3.2 Prem.There are a couple buttons that I have questions about.
The first one is the small square button beside the the mirror L&R selector button.I am assuming this to be a mirror defrost button.Is this button supposed to light up when it is pushed in while the lights are on??
The second one is the button in front of the heated seats buttons at the center console.Fog lights??On my car the indicator light for this button stays on no matter how many times I push it.(when the headlights are on}It does not even cut on of off the fog lights.Is this right??
Last is a small square grill looking sensor?? to the left of the radio ,what is this?

 

The small square button for the mirror is to turn on the heated mirors. The second one is for the fog lights. You were correct on both of those. That little grill thing is actually a temp sensor that works with the light sensor (It's located in the grill for the tweeter on the drivers side, just under the windshield). They work together to keep the temp in the car set as whatever you have it set at on the climate control.
