You know when the doors are locked and unlocked with the key fob the lights don't flash and the horn doesn't sound. Well yesterday I accidentally got the alarm to go off and noticed that the lights were flashing and the horn was beeping. So why couldn't Honda just make this feature when locking/unlocking doors?!

I saw some members have done that (or something similar), but are there any DIY's and is it relatively simple to do? Moreover, if I would go to get an aftermarket starter/alarm system would the installers be able to make the lights flash/horn sound, or do they usually not bother with it?

 

My parking lights flash when I unlock my car (I have an aftermarket keyless) I don't really like it.

I believe that you would just have to tap the parking to come on with the keyless. That is what they did to mine.

 

Yeah when you get the aftermarket stuff, there's a wire coming out the brain that they tap into the corner/parking lights for them to come on everytime you lock/unlock. They should do it since its part of the installation process.

 

Yup, this feature has been discussed so much, but no quick DIY has been done. Just does not work on our cars without going too complicated.
