Visor broke in my hands!!!

Ok so I get in my tl and its a beautiful sunny day, I go to pull my visor down and all of a sudden snap the metal snaps in half and my visor is hanging in mid air. Not even a clean break!!! I have a 98 3.2 tl, is this common? And does anyone have any ideas how to repair/ if not what with and where can I get a clean replacement? The color is the light tan/khaki color. Thanks!

Thats the first time I've heard of visor snapping. Definitely not common.

I've never heard of that either. I'm sure a junkyard will have one, maybe eBay.

I finally broke down and bought one at a junk yard for $20. It was in excellent condition too. Im gonna see if he has any legends...type II manifold you can find visors on ebay from people that are parting out there tls. The best thing to do is to go junk yard diving its always fun n u never know what u will find! Best of luck...also tinting the windshield helps

I got the exactly the same problem in 2009 summer. The replacement from a junk yard cost me 30 bucks. I think this is a common problem for old Acura 3.2TL.
