visibility in rain enhancement

Ever since i replaced my windshield after it cracked i've been having visibilty problems when it rains. i didn't get a genuine honda windshield which may be the reason but how can i improve visibilty when it rains with the windshield i now have?
it can't be the wipers. it has to be the new glass since it was never so hard to see in the rain with the origional glass.
should i try rainX spray or something like that?
thanks

I highly recommend RainX. Works a treat, but don't think of it as a windshield wiper replacement. After a few good rains, you'll be needing to re-apply it.

~Cheers~
