anyone know what size our vanity light bulbs are??? i took it out but can't find a bulb number on it anywhere...

 

The specs are from my 2.5TL Acura shop manual. Manual has the vanity mirror light at 12V-2Watt, the ceiling light is 12V-8W, and the spot light is 12V-5W.

IF you go to a pep boys/auto zone (I'd try auto zone) they should be able to tell you.

 

I've fit a 31MM Bi-Hybrid festoon bulb into the step lights, dome, etc. The step light was the same size as the vanity light. However, I don't think that you want to see your face in hyper-white, hehe. Kinda harsh lighting.

BTW, try a DE3021 or 3022 bulb. It should fit with a little squeezing.

Ok, double checked my bulbs, DE3021 for the vanity. It's the same as the step light, and the maplight (DE3022) would fit as well.

yeah i also tried a swap today and they fit... i want to order LEDs to change the color of the mood of the interior of the car.. pics will come after i am done installing...

 

can someone explain how to pop off the vanity light housing?? im having seriious issues my 06..

 

Wrong side of the forum if you've got an '06... But a small flat-head screwdriver should be enough to get the lense off. Try an eyeglass repair kit.

on the 06, you actually need two flat screw drivers... one to hold the light down on the gap, and then use the other one to push the clip in to release the cover... i will try to find a pic of it...

 

ive been wanting to do this... hyper whites on the door lights and blue on the two ceiling lights

 

i have the whole interior blue.. and superwhites in the vanities..

 

I have 10W Polargs in the doors and the dome. Don't use the map light often so I just leave that one off.
