hopefully the flares are an option. i like em on some cars, but not on all.

overall this whole process has been sweet. i'm grateful that you're taking the time to do this and make it work out for the good of the rest of us. you already know everyone is impatient to get the kit, so i'm willing to wait until it's just right. i hope the pressure isn't getting to you.

I think your flared fender idea is awsome but it extends way too low. You should have just flared the top half and not have it come all the way down to the side skirts and rear lip.

man, that is bad ass... that rear lip deffinatly looks better painted... Awsome man... keep up the good work... the flares... i like them... IMO, i like them going all the way down to the lip... gives it the united look... like if the lip and the flares etc... are all 1 peice instead of 8 diffrent peices... man... can't wait...

Look sgood man...rear looks way batter now that it's painted actually! Have to disagree with baller though.....fender flares SHOULD go all the way around the wheel well for sure. Love the look of fat fenders .... makes those DEEEEEEEP dishes look even better when they are on!!!! BLING BLING WHA-WHA!!!!

I'm pretty sure once he's finished shaping them he will either have to cut a slot and make them a two piece unit iwth a small slit around the edge of the door...no way around it really. It's pretty common in that type of body work.

hehe... of course the doors will be able to open.. the current flares on the car is just a prototype.. once the prototype is completed, then we will use that to cast a mold for it... once the design is done, i'll post photos and you will be able to see how the flares will actually look like..

thank you everyone for all the appreciating my efforts.. i am continually working hard to finish this project..

its looks like i might be pumping out the first part for the 2.5 front hopfully this weekend.. if the test fit works out, the TL parts (minus the flares) might be released sometime next week!!

also, i am considering making one other peice for the TL but i'll post photos or let you guys know what that is in the near future....hehehe

with the CF hood... but IMO, i think it will take from the luxury... to riced out... wouldn't mind one though... about the roof spoiler or what not... that will be cool... but hopefully that doesn't back this project... I WANT THAT KIT NOW!!!... wait... i need to fix my car first...

Keep up the good work hommie...

planning to unplug the stock third brake lamp bulb.. as we all know, a lot of aftermarket and even factory spoilers come with leds.. its basically up to them if they plan to keep the stock lamp lit.

It might be a bitch to run the wires from the 3rd brake lamp to somewhere near the top of the rear window to light up a roof spoiler. I've seen plenty of roof spoilers but never seen any with lights on them. It'd be pretty awsome to see something like that though.

hehe.. yeah.. it will be hard but since i'm getting the interior done, i'll have plenty of room to run the wires.. i don't know if i'll be making the roof spoiler with the leds as a product... i was just planning it as a special thing for me, but if people see and like my idea, i'm more than willing to make them that way.. we'll see..
