Does anyone else's D4 light come on while starting ? Doesn't flash. Comes on briefly with the P light, then goes out.

100,000km on my 97 3.2 premium

The transmission doesn't slip, but at low speeds, I sometimes feel a bit of a rumble and at hwy speeds it sometimes feels like the car is pulling. Engine screaming for more, tranny may be holding it back.

Any ideas ???


Also, looking to sell this and buy a winter beater. Want to get a white 98 3.2 premium in the spring.

Don't want to go through the hassle of selling privately and having a bunch of test pilots come through. Anyone have any ideas ???

 

i have a 96 3.2 Premium(164,000mi) also and my car seems to be acting alot like your car. i wish our transmission was better. better yet, i wish they came in manual. buying a newer car might be a good idea, but its entirely up to you.

 

You are worried about the D4 light? That light on my car has been out for like 10,000 miles already so that is not a problem, as for the transmission I think everybody's tranny is similar to that.
