I just received my sway bars from Suspension Techniques
(Part #ST-52137). They quoted this as the one that would fit my 97 TL, however when I went to install them, they were entirely different and would not fit.
Does anyone know if Part #ST-52135 will be the correct one? This one is made for 90 - 97 Honda Accords.
Thanks!

200hp TL,
These sway bars are larger diameter ones to replace the skinny ones that are attached to the front and rear suspension located under the car. They will greatly reduce body roll when cornering.
Just by visual check, it looks like the ones I received from Suspension Techniques will not fit because it is shaped a lot different from my stock ones.
Has anyone else had the same experience?

oh that must suck dude,
i think you gotta go to some shop and see what they say about them fitting..

Well, I'm sad to say that the sway bars that were confirmed to fit by Suspension Techniques did not. The performance shop where I ordered the sway bars is now angry at Suspension Techniques because they are now denying that they said it would fit. They will also not allow returns.
The web site www.optauto.com/webstore also shows part number ST-52137 as being the ones for our TL's as well.
Don't waste your time and money in getting these sway bars because they will not fit.

I have being buying parts from this store for ages and they are not making me pay for Suspension Techniques' mistake. They will keep the sway bars in stock and hope that someone will buy them.
They did tell me, however that the Koni Sport (yellow) shocks I would like to order would be non refundable because Koni does not list them for my TL. I am patiently waiting for feedback from the person on this forum that has purchased them under an Honda Accord number and is going to install them soon on his TL.

i was all optimistic that these sway bars would actually fit...

I'm not sure if they will, but I noticed a lot more performance parts are available for your Legend. If you decide to order sway bars for your Legend and they are listed for Honda Accords, I would strongly recommend that you park your car next to an Accord it is listed for and compare sway bars with a tape measure and take a lot of digital pictures so that you can look at it more in detail on your computer.
